The property has many charming original features, there is a spacious well equipped open-plan kitchen dining room with slate stone floor. The Sitting room has a stone fireplace and cosy turf and log fire. There is one down stairs single bedroom. The kitchen has a microwave and Stanley range cooker - the Stanley provides constant hot water and there is also an immersion booster.

Dunnes cottage has a large spacious and airy open-plan kitchen, a slate stone floor and very comfortable dining/living room with log burning stove and oak wooden floors.
The sitting room has comfortable furnishings a stone fireplace and cosy turf and log fire.
A utility room houses a washing machine, tumbledryer and sink.
Oil fired and solid fuel central heating allows for a constant supply of hot water.

Sorry there is a no-smoking policy in the holiday cottages but we welcome owner's pets, ther are lovely walks in this part of Ireland. Both cottages have their own private car park and there is plenty car parking space for you and your guests. For Large groups, you may rent both properties, offering a unique location for up to 14 guests to stay - the area provides the perfect holidays activity center for walking holidays in Donegal or fishing, as well as relaxing and romantic breaks! Fishing is available on the River Lemon very close by and we are happy to give advice to hill walkers on scenic routes - our family are experienced hill-walkers and guides. Each cottage has its own private gardens and established unspoilt woodland walks - making it the perfect vacation retreat for couples, groups and families holidaying in Ireland. The cottages are both offered for self catering rental year round - summer holidays, Easter, Christmas and New Year are all very popular so book early, this is a very popular Irish hideaway for week-long holidays or romantic short breaks! Families with children are welcome and the cottages are pet friendly - cots and high chairs for children will be provided on request. We are located just 3 hrs drive from Belfast/Larne and 4 hrs drive from Dublin, so if you are arriving by sea or by plane, simply rent a car and drive through some of Irelands most beautiful countryside. Summer, Christmas and New Year holiday periods are very popular, so book early to avoid disappointment, although if the accommodation is available, you may be lucky and get a last minute reservation, please contact us for late availability. Although selfcatering - we can recommend some wonderful places to eat for evening meals and pub lunches.
